Nanny Faye Chrisley, 79, is doing well and maintaining a positive attitude while undergoing bladder cancer therapy.

During an interview with her granddaughter Savannah Chrisley on the Unlocked podcast, she displayed her upbeat attitude by emphasizing the value of perseverance in the face of adversity.

She stated: “You don’t always get a good hand in life, so you make the best of what you have. Getting to bed and getting up early benefits your health, prosperity, and wisdom.”

Savannah was proud to inform listeners about her grandmother’s strength during the ordeal. Faye did not allow her chemotherapy treatments to slow her down; the day after each treatment, she could be spotted heading out to the casino full of vitality. Her determination and optimism have undoubtedly served as an inspiration to her family.

Savannah Chrisley, the 25-year-old Growing Up Chrisley performer, revealed how tough it has been for her grandmother Nanny Faye to live without her son and daughter-in-law due to their tax fraud accusations.

She stated that their absence as primary caretakers has undoubtedly affected the family matriarch. Nanny Faye agreed, noting that this was a tough time because she had bladder cancer treatment.

Todd Chrisley shared his mother’s diagnosis on his podcast series ‘Chrisley Confessions in June 2022 and his personal experience with it.

His daughter-in-law had been by her side during the entire procedure, offering much-needed emotional support to the matriarch during such a stressful time.

Nanny Faye’s bladder cancer was discovered in late 2021, and the Chrisley family chose to keep it a secret. Todd asked for tolerance and compassion, reminding people of her age and that she was battling a medical condition.

He prayed to God to guide her through the healing process. According to the American Cancer Society, 90% of people with bladder cancer are above the age of 55, implying that Nanny Faye belongs to a group that is more prone to this disease.

Yet, they are no different than any other family going through a health crisis in dealing with such issues.

Todd Chrisley requested the public to be conscious of Nanny Faye’s age and present health state in a public appeal. He ardently prayed for her recovery, reminding everyone that adversity is unavoidable in life, regardless of one’s background or circumstances.

Though the family has not revealed many details concerning Nanny Faye’s illness, it is evident that bladder cancer is more common in persons over 55. This is supported by data from the American Cancer Society, which indicates that 90% of bladder cancer cases involve people in their forties and fifties.
